Uniform
We are very pleased to be able to share with you the new and exciting Academy uniform design. Most of the uniform will be provided free of charge and will be made available in December 2010 in advance of the January 2011 opening. It is our intention to ensure a continuity of the high standards which have already been set when moving from the existing uniform towards the new Academy uniform.
The table below lists the new Academy uniform and highlights which items will be provided free of charge (shown in the left hand column) as part of the funding provided by the Department for Education. All of the other uniform items will need to be purchased by parents for January 2011.
We have carefully chosen uniform items that are readily available at a reasonable price, from several high street stores. The Academy branded items are highlighted as these contain the embroidered academy logo; these items can only be purchased through our approved supplier. These will be delivered through the Academy uniform shop from spring 2011, at very competitive prices.

Uniform Delivery
The sizing and ordering is due to take place in the first week of the new term (i.e. September 2010)* - during the school day. If your child is not in attendance on this date we will try to contact parents directly. Failing this we will over-order on all items to ensure we have extra uniform available from January. Sizing will compensate for a child's growth over the five months from September- January
The uniform will be distributed from the school at the end of the winter term (December 2010)*. Student's uniform will be named & packaged and delivered to students during the school day.
* The exact dates will be confirmed and communicated with you in due course. We aim to keep you regularly informed of any uniform updates via the academy website and through regular Newsletters which will be published during the autumn term.
