The Sponsor, Woodard Schools, is a family of more than 40 schools and two academies located throughout England and Wales, a third of which are within the local authority maintained sector. Kent County Council (KCC) is the maintaining education authority and oversees state education in the county, including around 100 secondary schools. KCC is rated nationally as an excellent authority, and is regarded as innovative and forward thinking.
